Orange and red Forever friends birthday card, white base card, yellow paper from the new capsule collection, the cirlce is from a paper pack I got free with a magazine, think its nitwit paper, two yellow eyelets,



Coloured in with promarkers
Bear: Satin, Ivory, Blush, Vanilla and Sunkissed pink for cheeks and ears.
Drink: Tulip yellow.
Yellow cats eye chalk ink for round the edge of the circle.



Big red flowers are fabric flowers from stash, the yellow is a paper flower as are the smaller flowers, also from stash, two yellow brads and gems for the middle of the flowers, sliver birthday peel-off,

With Sympathy

White linen paper from Lidl, embossed with V and A Hanoverian folder, matted onto black card,



With Sympathy stamped with Ink It Up, Black ink, wooden stamp from Anita's, matted onto more black card.



Black ribbons and white buttons hot glued into corner, the usual verse I put on sympathy cards is on to inside, "May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, Comfort you now and in the days ahead."

Everybody needs friends

an order for a set of cards, this is the Just for you one, i made two of them,
Papers from the papermania blue Capsule collection, Image from promo card for Tatty teddy's new friends, hand made flowers, glitter dots from stash, peel offs



Flowers made with card and white paper, I got the new Papermaina 1cm and 1.6cm punches, i punched 1 large flower from the large punch in card, and two small flowers from the smaller die, one in card one in paper, the layered the white flower on top of the large flower, then i layered the small card flower on top of the other two, this one i turned the petels up on, then i put a gem in the middle and added a round foam pad, i did three of these for each card,

Hello, I'm back

hey everyone,


it's been awhile, took a little time over christmas, didn't go on the internet at all, so to everyone i have seen or talked to over the christmas here or on Docrafts, Hope you all had a Happy Christmas and I wish you every happiness for the new year, :)

the candles I made for people went down a treat, everyone love them, :)

I've gotta get back into making cards, I got some lovely christmas papers and bits for half price in the shop I get my craft stuff,

I also made a new header for my blog, hope you like it, a few different cards I've made over the last year,

1st Candle

Well here's my tester candle, thanks to Pickle for the inscructions, :)



I used a candle that had been lit already so if it went wrong I wouldnt have used a full candle,



some snowflakes i tried out on it too, does anyone know if you can use this technique on coloured candles?

what I've been making without my card stash,

so here's what i was doing while i was stuck in Dublin, i made a scarf for myself and i continued working on a blanket im making (which i don't have photos yet)



so i basically used one 100g ball of wool which ive had for years so i don't know the colour or make, so its quite short but it's long enough to go into my coat,



it is crocheted and the pattern in 21 stiches across, 1 as a turning chain, two lines of double crochet, then two lines of treble crochet, for anyone who knows what im talking about, :) the stringy bits are just the end of the wool threaded through every second stitch.

Snow ho ho

Well no card tonight and prob wont be till at least Tuesday, i'm at my parents house two hours away from my house because of snow, more snow than i've ever seen in my life, my boyfriend works in Dublin, and it takes him an hour and a half to two hours to get into work from where we live, and on Mon mornings he opens which means hes needs to be in at 7am which means leaving the house about 5.30, however we made the descision on Sunday to head to Dublin because it had been snowing and had been very cold and i didnt really want him driving at 5.30 with snow, ice and black ice, so we said head to Dublin stay with parents, we're still here in Dublin, dont know when the snow is gonna let up, who knows when ill get home to my card stash??? i did bring wool with me so i could crochet, im currently making myself a scarf, also didnt bring any of my 50 cameras so i dont even have photos of the snow to show you :)
