Forever Friends Challenge,

I took part in The forever friends challenge from the Docrafts forum, the challenge was to use the colours Red and Green, Blue and Orange or Purple and Yellow, so after having a think about it, if i picked Green and Red i think i would have done a christmas card, Blue and Orange a boys card but i pick Purple and Yellow, the only other thing is it had to include a Forever Friends image.



i used purple daisy paper from the hawthorn and bramble paper pack as the backing paper, which i matted on to a 4x6 white card, then i cut two strips of yellow paper from the yellow (sunshine) Capsule collection matted them across the card. Then i stamped a forever friend image on cream card with Black Memento dye, i coloured him in with promarkers vanilla, blush and ivory for his skin, purple and yellow flowers, green vase, and cool grey for the shadow,



i mounted the image on purple pearlesent card and rounded the corners, then i stamped a "Just for you" sentiment in Purple vivid ink, let it dry for awhile then mounted it on the same pearlesent card and rounded the corners on it too.



i finished it then with some purple buttons from the capsule collection and some gems from my stash, two purple and a goldish one.

i really enjoyed making this card, i'm not very good with pormarkers yet but i think the bear turned well this time, all considering, i hope the girl whos running the challenge likes it, :)
