Reindeer games

Hi guys,

These cuties are available from Kraftin' Kimmie's, they are adorable.

I made a stepper card and cut a rounded piece for the back of the card and matted "northern lights" card to it, the snowy hills were a die set I got free with a magazine, I cut two little square and coloured them in yellow and stuck them into the windows to make it look like a glow-y house.

I coloured the reindeers with Spectrum Noir markers, the "snow" is a glue type stuff I got years ago, If you heat it with a heat gun it puffs up like snow.

I have entered this into the Krafty Kimmie's Novemember Make it Challenge.

A side view, Thanks for looking. :)

Book Dragon

I got some crafting inspiration from the Kraftin Kimmie stamps blog for this card. They have a challenge for rainbow colours challenge #397 rainbow-colors, I got a new Kraftin Kimmie stamp during the week and I couldn't resist inking it up for this challenge.

I stamped the dragon on Transotype Perfect Colouring Paper with Memento black ink. He is coloured with Spectrum Noirs.

Belly: FS1, FS2, FS4, GB2, GB3.
Body: IB1, IB2,IB3, BT4,BT9.
Book: IG3, IG5 IG7.
Pages: TN1, TN2.
Hair: OR1, OR2, OR3.
Horns: DR4, DR6, Blender.
His fins are red and yellow and pink and green and orange and purple and blue :)
His glasses are done with a grey Souffle pen.

The card is a 5 x 7 white card blank, I used paper from My Mind's Eye, On the bright side paper pad. The border at the bottom is washi tape from my stash. The sentiment from the Book Dragon set is stamped onto orange coredinations card, which I sanded slightly and distressed the edges. I also looped some washi tape to the top right this card. I then hot-glued some flowers from my stash to the top left of the card and added some rainbow coloured gems.

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it.

I am entering this into the Kraftin Kimmie challenge #397 rainbow colors

Little boy's birthday card

Fun card for a 3 year old's birthday. Was given the brief he likes monsters. I didn't want it to be too scary so I thought Monster's Inc.

5 x 7 white card blank, zigzag paper from my stash. I then tore some spotty paper from the Roald Dahl DO Crafts collection.I printed the image from the internet, The ribbon has little bouncing Tigger's on it, my Mam got it for me when she was over in England at some stage.

The banner was on a page in the paper pad where I got the zigzag paper, I fussy cut out four bunting and used silver peel-off letters to spell Theo, I also spotted some silver peel off buntings so I cut them down and added to the image to bring it together. To finish I glued on 3 blue buttons as embellishments.

And a side-ish view. Thanks for looking.

Well its been awhile, like 5 years, what's changed in the 5 years? I'm married now :) got married last Sept. I'm still making cards, made all the invites for the wedding :)

Orange and Silver color scheme, die cut hearts with our initials, strip of organza ribbon, with print out "two small words and a lifetime of meaning" and the wedding date, pearl and silver stick ons.

Inside had a print out matted onto pearlescent orange paper, the directions and where to stay in the area were printed out and cut out and I printed out reply cards as well. All were printed in grey and orange.

I'm hoping to get back blogging more so will upload details of at least one card a week.
